Demonstrating their continued commitment to community welfare, the Rotary Club Shimla Hill Queens visited Kaithu Jail and extended their support by donating essential medical furniture and hygiene supplies to the inmates.

As part of the initiative, the club handed over two chairs and a patient stool to the jail dispensary. These contributions were generously sponsored by Sonia Bragta, whose support will help enhance the comfort and care available to inmates needing medical attention.

In a parallel effort to promote women’s hygiene and well-being, the club also provided a monthly supply of sanitary napkins to the female inmates. This initiative underscores the club’s focus on addressing the often-overlooked needs of marginalized women and maintaining dignity through access to basic necessities.

The project was successfully executed by a team of dedicated Rotarians, including Sonia Bragta, Kartika Berry, Seema Sharma, Mala Mayor, and Puja Goyal.

Through such efforts, the Rotary Club Shimla Hill Queens continues to set an example in compassionate community service, striving to uplift lives across all sections of society.

Rotary Club Shimla Hill Queens is a dynamic service organization committed to driving change through initiatives in healthcare, education, and community development. Their efforts are rooted in empathy, collaboration, and sustainable impact.
