RSB Shimla Holds Civil Services Trials

The Regional Sports Board (RSB), Shimla, will organize selection trials for the All India Civil Services Volleyball Tournament 2025–26, as per a circular issued by the office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit), Himachal Pradesh.

The trials are scheduled for 10 March 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex. They will determine the men’s volleyball team that will represent Himachal Pradesh in the national-level tournament. The main event will take place in Delhi from 20 to 25 March 2026.

Eligible central government employees working in Himachal Pradesh departments and subordinate offices have been invited to participate. Participants are requested to report to the discipline convenor at the venue at the designated time. Travel and daily allowances (TA/DA) for attendees will be covered by their respective departments.

Officials noted that the initiative is part of efforts to promote sports among government employees while selecting a competitive team to represent the state in the national civil services volleyball tournament. The circular has been approved by the Chairman of RSB Shimla and circulated to all relevant government departments.
