The P.O.W.E.R. RUN 2k25 is not just a marathon—it’s a movement. With the powerful motto “Save The Himalayas”, the event is being organized to raise funds for the victims of recent cloudbursts and landslides in Himachal Pradesh. It is a call to action for runners, nature lovers, and the wider community to come together for a cause that directly impacts our environment and fellow citizens.

This two-volume marathon will kick off on Sunday, 28th September 2k25, starting sharp at 7:00 AM at the iconic Mall Road in Shimla. The first part will feature short races, encouraging participation from people of all age groups and fitness levels. It’s an opportunity for everyone to contribute, whether by running or simply showing up in support.

The second segment of the event is the P.O.W.E.R. RUN Ultra 2k25, which will challenge participants with distances of 22.5 km, 55 km, 75 km, and 111 km. This ultra-distance leg is designed for seasoned runners and adventure seekers. The venue for the Ultra Run will be disclosed on 28th September at Mall Road, adding an element of surprise and excitement.

The event is proudly organized by Palace of Words, with the strong support of SJVNL, the Accountant General’s Office, and the Department of Physical Education, Himachal Pradesh University. The marathon also welcomes Decathlon as its affiliate sponsor, further boosting its reach and credibility.

With just six days to go, anticipation is building. A significant turnout is expected, as the city prepares to host a powerful blend of sports, community, and environmental responsibility. The P.O.W.E.R. RUN 2k25 is more than a race—it’s a step toward rebuilding lives and protecting the fragile Himalayan ecosystem.
