Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority is organizing Samarth 2024 in the context of disaster risk reduction, under which various activities are being organized to make people aware about disaster management in the state. Under Samarth-2024, artists of the Information and Public Relations Department are making people aware through street plays.
In this series of awareness campaign, today the artists of Swar Sadhna Kala Manch performed street plays and songs at Rohru bus stand and Samarkot. Through music, local people were made aware of issues like earthquake, landslide, flood, fire. The artists also provided information to the people about preparation to deal with earthquake and the necessary steps to be taken for safety. On this occasion Rohru Tehsildar Sarthak Sharma, Samarkot head Shakuntala Devi and a large number of local people were present.
