The students also performed a few skits, proudly playing the characters of the heroic soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country. Shreya, Pallavi, Ushal, Ragini, Arushi, Shubham, Aditya were among a few students who expressed their views on this historic war.
School teacher Jyoti Kamal brought the agonizing sight and bravery of the soldiers to life by narrating the incidents of the war. Neeraj Verma, Megha Chauhan, Nidhi Thakur, Shikha Chauhan, Deepali Gopan were among other teachers who gave a grand salute to the soldiers.
Amidst huge round of applause the Principal Rana, expressed his patriotic feelings and urged the students to pay gratitude whole year rather than remembering them only on special occasions and added, “Along with studies, it is the responsibility of the school to instil the spirit of patriotism in the hearts of the students, these kind of occasions play a very important part in doing the same. I want the students to take inspiration from the life of the soldiers. There is much more to remember and many more things to feel proud about this phenomenal event of history. We should learn to evoke the feeling of selflessness in our hearts and believe in devotion to duty”.
