Students and staff at Shimla Nursing College in Shurala gathered on September 5, 2026, to celebrate Teacher’s Day with an event dedicated to honoring the faculty’s vital role in student development.
Managing Director Mohit Sood attended as the Chief Guest alongside Secretary Dr. Kimi Sood, joining Principal Dr. Krishna Chauhan, faculty members, and the student body for the occasion.
Organized by the students, the event featured speeches, cultural performances, and interactive activities designed to express appreciation for the faculty’s academic and professional mentorship. Student speakers noted how the faculty’s guidance helps shape them into compassionate and skilled healthcare professionals.
In his address, Chief Guest Mohit Sood commended the educators for their dedication, highlighting that teachers build the foundation of future healthcare by teaching discipline, compassion, and service. Secretary Dr. Kimi Sood praised the student organizers and acknowledged the faculty’s continuous effort in both academic and clinical training. Principal Dr. Krishna Chauhan urged students to carry the ethical lessons and guidance from their instructors into their future nursing careers.
