Shiv Pratap Shukla Pays Emotional Tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Manali

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla during his four-day visit to Kullu district reached Manali and visited the residence of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Preeni today. He spent some time in the premises and became emotional while remembering the moments and memories spent with Atal Ji. Lady Governor Janaki Shukla also accompanied him.

Remembering Atal Ji, the Governor said, “He had great affection for Himachal and the people of this state and considered Himachal as his second home and wrote many poems in the peaceful environment of Preeni.”

The Governor also visited the Roerich Art Gallery and Naggar Castle. Earlier, the Governor also visited the Kai Monastery. Secretary to Governor C.P Verma and officers of the district administration were also present on the occasion.
