SJVN Receives “2nd Annual Greentech Quality & Innovation Award 2023”

Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director of SJVN, proudly announced the company’s achievement of the “2nd Annual Greentech Quality & Innovation Award 2023” in the category of Quality Improvement. Sharma extended his congratulations to all SJVN employees, attributing the award to their dedication, excellence, and commitment. He emphasized that this recognition exemplifies the collective effort of SJVNites to surpass expectations and realize the shared vision of transforming into a 50,000 MW company by 2040.

The esteemed Greentech Quality & Innovation Awards celebrate organizations that exhibit a strong commitment to quality improvement practices. Nominees are rigorously evaluated by a panel of esteemed professionals and experts who assess the positive impact of their quality initiatives on the community. Nand Lal Sharma highlighted SJVN’s notable quality improvement endeavors across various operational projects, including the 1500MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station, the 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station, and ongoing hydro projects.

The award was received on behalf of SJVN by Salil Shamshery, Executive Director (QA&I), at the Greentech Quality & Innovation Summit & Awards 2023 held in New Delhi. Greentech Foundation, established in 2000, is a non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing and celebrating exceptional performance by Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in the hydro sector.
