A two day dental camp was held for the tiny tots of SHEMROCK Smartkids, Sanjauli in which more than 20 children were seen and given some healthy tips about dental hygiene. Dr Shilpi Sood and Dr Priyanka Rai checked all the kids and had a light-hearted chat with the kids about oral hygiene, healthy gums, brushing daily and avoiding too many sweets. The right way of brushing teeth as well as brushing before going to bed was also stressed upon by the doctors.
School Director Sheetaljeet Kaur said that the school organizes such health camps to create awareness about healthy habits among kids. When children see a doctor they do get nervous at times, but through informal and cordial atmosphere with playful activities, children are more receptive to learning and adopting healthy habits. Prisha, Rijul, Christine, Jasmine, Arnav, Vedant, Rishika, Avni, Adhya, Priyansh, anik, Raghav, Sparsh, Tejas, Saatvik, Nayasa, Disha among other students were a part of this dental camp. Parents were quite impressed with the facilities provided in the school and they were happy with the progress their children were making after coming here.
