Solan Gets New Career Hub, Park, and ABC Centre

CM Sukhu today dedicated a series of development projects to the people of Solan, aimed at enhancing infrastructure, employment services, and public welfare. Among the key inaugurations was the Model Career Centre at Jatoli, constructed at a cost of ₹5.32 crore. This modern facility is envisioned as a one-stop hub for career guidance, skill mapping, interview preparation, and job opportunities in both government and private sectors—underscoring the state government’s commitment to youth empowerment and employability.

In a further push to administrative efficiency, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the newly built Excise and Taxation Department office, completed at a cost of ₹2.27 crore. The new office provides improved workspaces for employees and better public service facilities.

Addressing urban challenges, the CM also inaugurated the Animal Birth Control (ABC) Centre under Solan Municipal Corporation. Developed at a cost of ₹44.99 lakh, the center is equipped with a modern operation theatre and veterinary amenities to scientifically manage the stray dog population.

Adding a green touch to the day, the Chief Minister also dedicated Solan Vatika (Park) to the public, developed at a cost of ₹53 lakh. On this occasion, he planted a sapling of the medicinal Arjuna plant, promoting environmental awareness and sustainable urban development.

Health Minister Col. (Dr.) Dhani Ram Shandil expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister, noting the rapid pace of development in Solan district under the current government. Several dignitaries including MLAs Ram Kumar Chaudhary, Bawa Hardeep Singh, and Suresh Kumar, along with local leaders and officials, were present during the events.
