Special Artificial Limbs Fitment camps to be Organised from 1st to 16th December

A spokesperson of Empowerment of SCs, OBCs, Minorities and Specially Abled Department said here today that for providing aids and appliances to the needy persons with disabilities, special artificial limbs fitment camps are being organised by the department  through Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti, Jaipur from 1st December to 16th December in different regions of the state that is Shimla, Mandi and Kangra. The camps are been organised for the beneficiary of all the district, who required artificial limbs.

The Camps would be organised at Hotel Frihill, near RTO office, Shimla from 9A.M. to 3P.M. on 1st December, 2021 for people of district Kinnaur and Sirmour , on 2nd  December for people of District  Solan and Kullu (Anni, Nirmand Tehsil) and on 3rd December, 2021 for people of District Shimla. Remaining works and winding up for aforesaid would be done on 4th December, 2021 form 9A.M. to 12P.M. Similarly, the camps would be organised at Yatri Sadan in District Kangra from 9A.M. to 3P.M. for beneficiaries of District Chamba and Hamirpur on 7th December, for District Una on 8th and 9th December, for beneficiaries of District Kangra on 9th December , 2021.

Remaining works and winding up for aforesaid would be done on 10th  December, 2021 form 9A.M. to 12P.M. The camp would also be organised at Vyas Sadan in District Mandi from 9A.M to 3P.M on 13th December for beneficiaries of District Lahaul Spiti and Kullu (other than Aani and Nirmand Tehsil), on 14th December for persons of Bilaspur, on 15th December for beneficiaries of Mandi and on 16th December Remaining works and winding up for aforesaid would be done on 16th  December, 2021 form 9A.M. to 12P.M. The spokesperson said that no medical certificate is required from the beneficiaries for procuring these artificial limbs and those interested can contact concerned District Welfare Officers.
