Annual days are an important day in the lives of students as not only do they win prizes for their academic excellence but they get a great opportunity to show their talent as well through performances such as singing, dancing, and play enactments. The Upper Primary Department of Auckland House Girls School celebrated their Speech Day with great zest and enthusiasm as J.R. Chauhan ex-faculty member and co-ordinator of Upper Primary Department graced the occasion with her presence as the chief guest. The students showcased a cultural programme such as Choir, English play, Hindi play and Dances as they mesmerized the audience with their rocking performances.
The English play titled ‘Santa Comes’ was a message of love and peace for the young and the old alike, while the Hindi play titled ‘Anokha Ilaaj’ was a message that people should live a healthy life by taking a right diet and adding physical activity in their daily routine. The choir sung few classic songs such as ‘Que Sera Sera’ and ‘Country Road Take Me Home’ and the foot tapping and energetic dances, Rajasthani and Himachali Naati, left the audience mesmerised and thus encouraged their wards with a huge round of applause.
