Auckland House School Middle Section came alive with colour, rhythm and sporting excitement as its annual Sports Day unfolded with remarkable enthusiasm and participation. The event turned into a lively showcase of fitness, discipline and teamwork, reflecting the school’s strong sporting culture.
The occasion was graced by Dr. Ruchi Ramesh, Principal, Government Degree College, Darlaghat (Solan), as Chief Guest. She praised the school for hosting a well-coordinated and vibrant event and commended the students for their discipline, confidence and spirited performances. She also emphasized the role of sports in shaping leadership qualities and a healthy competitive mindset among children.
The programme opened with an impressive March Past, setting the tone for a day filled with energy and enthusiasm. Students captivated the audience with a series of performances including Fitness Drill with Claps, Dumbbell Drill Display, Yoga, Gymnastics, Karate and Skating. The excitement further escalated with action-packed events such as Obstacle Race, Baton Relay, Skipping Race, Sack Race and Skipping Relay, along with special races for ladies and gentlemen.
