CM Sukhu today received a cheque of ₹73.92 lakh from Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta on behalf of Mashobra Resort Limited, a government undertaking responsible for operating Hotel Wildflower Hall, Chharabra (Shimla). The contribution has been made to the Mukhya Mantri Sukh Ashray Kosh under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Expressing gratitude for the contribution, the Chief Minister said such support plays a significant role in assisting vulnerable sections of society. He added that after a successful legal battle in the Supreme Court, the State Government has strengthened Mashobra Resort Limited, which is now emerging as a profitable entity delivering positive outcomes.

The historic 120-year-old luxury property, Wildflower Hall, remained entangled in litigation for nearly three decades. A major breakthrough came following the intervention of Chief Minister Sukhu, with the State Government engaging leading legal experts to pursue the case effectively.

The Supreme Court, in its judgment dated 20 February 2024, granted legal possession of the property to the State Government, while physical possession was completed on 31 March 2025.
