In a strong stride toward environmental conservation and community engagement, St. Edward’s School organized a successful Tree Plantation Drive on 2 August 2025. Spearheaded by the Eco Club in partnership with the National Cadet Corps (NCC), the initiative brought together cadets from St. Edward’s and neighbouring schools to contribute to a greener future.
The plantation drive was carried out at Kanlog and Shivpuri, both earmarked for ecological improvement and reforestation. With great enthusiasm, cadets planted diverse species of saplings, taking an active role in restoring green cover and enhancing local biodiversity.
More than just a planting effort, the event served as an educational experience, nurturing a deep sense of environmental responsibility and sustainable values among students. Through this outreach, the Eco Club and NCC highlighted crucial issues like climate change and ecological balance, reinforcing the role youth can play in environmental protection.
St. Edward’s School sincerely thanks all the cadets, volunteers, and local authorities whose dedication and support turned this initiative into a meaningful and lasting impact.
