St. Edward’s School welcomes His Excellency, Ambassador Kevin Kelly

St. Edward’s School had the honour of hosting His Excellency Kevin Kelly, Irish Ambassador to India, a distinguished diplomat with an impressive career spanning multiple high-profile roles. The Ambassador was accompanied by Deputy Ambassador, Raymond Mullen, Head of Visa Office Cairbre O’ Fearghail and the Second Secretary Peader O’hUbain.

The distinguished guests were warmly welcomed by teachers and students where after Ambassador Kevin Kelly hoisted the school flag followed by the rendition of the school anthem.

In a special interaction session held in the school library, Model United Nations (MUN) students had the unique opportunity to engage with the diplomats, gaining valuable insights from his extensive diplomatic experience. The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony by the school management and refreshments catered to by the School’s Cuisine Club.

St. Edward’s School extends heartfelt gratitude to the diplomats, for their visit and inspiring interaction with our students. This occasion marks a significant milestone in our school’s ongoing commitment to fostering global understanding and education.
