In celebration of National Space Day, the Science stream students of Classes XI and XII from St. Thomas’ School, Shimla, visited the Centre for Science Learning and Creativity at the Science Museum in Shoghi. This educational excursion was organised to ignite scientific curiosity among students and deepen their understanding of space science, with a special focus on India’s landmark mission, Chandrayaan-3.
Accompanied by their teachers, the students explored a range of interactive exhibits, scientific models, and technological innovations. The visit provided a platform for experiential learning, encouraging students to think critically about the real-world applications of science and the importance of space research in national development.
The experience proved both enriching and inspiring, fostering a deeper interest in scientific inquiry and motivating students to engage more actively with India’s growing space ambitions.
