In a significant announcement, a spokesperson for the state government revealed today that Chief Minister Thakur Sukhinder Singh Sukhoo will preside over the state-level Independence Day celebration event to be held at the Him and Himachal Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports (HHIMAS) in Manali, situated in Kullu district.
Accompanying the Chief Minister at the state-level Independence Day event will be the Chief Parliamentary Secretary for Projects and Energy, Tourism, Forest and Transport, Sundar Singh Thakur.
