Students of GSSS Phagli Celebrate Wildlife Week

The students of GSSS Phagli had great fun and learnt quite a few new things when they were brought up front close to nature. Celebrating Wildlife week from 2nd to 8th October in their school, the management arranged a visit to the Tutikandi Zoo where children viewed various kinds of birds. Santosh Thakur gave the children a brief review about the place and about different birds, their nests and habits.

This trip was organized by the Deodar Eco Club, in which the School Principal Lakshmi Negi, Lecturer Sarika Ahuja and Amita Sharma participated. A painting competition was also organized for the kids in which students of Class VI, VII, and VIII took part. Some of the students were Rohit, Pinky, ankush, Tamana, Sakshi, Vijay among other.
