A small but impressive celebration of Sports Day by the tiny tots of Chapslee School Lakkar Bazar, Primary Section concluded today with a colourful and vibrant display by the children. The morning started with a welcome bouquet being presented to Pronati Singh, Principal and Director, Chapslee School Bharari, followed by March Past by Class III students. CEO, Kanwar Rattan Jeet was also present to support and encourage the children.
Children of Class I presented a colourful PT display with balls and Class II gave an energetic performance with Hoopla. Soon after which the races began starting from a simple race to some innovative races which were based on everyday learning. In the Kinder Garden section children were expected to roll the newspapers and run towards the finish line while the girls had to dress up and wear the hair band before they reached the finish line.
The Train Race by Class I students was fun to watch as the leader had to drag all those behind him towards the finish line, while girls were given the choice to pick a word, match it with the correct word and run towards the end line. Class II boys showed great skills by knocking the tin cans with a ball in an effort to finish the race, while the girls hopped on one leg to complete their race.
Class III students showed some agility and athleticism in the competition, as the Relay Race, Skipping Race and the Hurdles were crossed with ease to reach the finish line. The competition of Musical Chairs was an interesting event to watch, followed by the Tug of War between Class III children.
The day ended with an encouraging and exuberant show by teachers who participated in a simple race with loud cheers and claps from all around the ground, kids rooting for their class teachers to excel. Principal Singh while concluding the games thanked the teachers for their hard work in putting up a great show.
