Jan Aushadhi Diwas in India is observed to spread awareness about affordable generic medicines. It is part of the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana, a government initiative that provides quality medicines at much lower prices through special Jan Aushadhi stores, ensuring that people from all income groups can access essential medicines at affordable rates. Similarly, World Tennis Day is celebrated to promote the sport of tennis globally and encourage more people to participate in it. The day is supported by the International Tennis Federation, which organizes various events, exhibitions, and activities to increase interest in tennis worldwide.
