In a major boost to tourism and regional connectivity, Alliance Air will resume flight operations on the Delhi-Shimla-Delhi route from Sunday, May 10. The service will operate six days a week — Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The state government said the move is aimed at improving air connectivity and promoting tourism in Himachal Pradesh. In addition, flights on the Shimla-Dharamshala-Shimla route will begin from May 11 and operate five days a week.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said the government is committed to strengthening regional air connectivity to support tourism, business and economic activities in the state. He said the renewed services would offer faster and more convenient travel options for both residents and tourists.
The new flight operations are expected to enhance intra-state and inter-state connectivity while giving a fresh push to Himachal Pradesh’s tourism sector.
