A Tribute to Mothers — St Thomas DCM Celebrates Mother’s Day

Jaipur_9517 (1)It was a day of celebration for the mothers of tiny tots of St Thomas’ Pre Primary Section at St Thomas’ DCM, School, Jaipur as they were joined by the students of St Thomas Girdharipura. Father T J Johnson was the Guests of Honour, Secretary Shaji Thomas, and Smitha Johnson and Headmistress Nivedita Doegar were also present at the event.

Jaipur_9517 (6)DCM students mesmerised all with their heart winning performances on musical numbers. The students of Nursery danced on Chanda Chamke Cham Cham and UKG on Star Jump. Class I performed on the memorable songs Bam Bam Bole and Zoobi Doobi. They later recited the poems I Love My Mommy, Meri Mummy Pyari Hai and Meri Maa Hai Sabse Achchi.

Jaipur_9517 (11)The students of Girdhiripura also came up with beautiful performances on Itni Si Khushi and Tu Kitni Achchi Hai. There were poetry recitations – Papa and Mummy, Mamta ke Mandir Mein and O Mother.

Jaipur_9517 (17)Mothers of children were invited for the celebration. They participated wholeheartedly in all the games organised for them and made the show a real success. They were happy and excited and danced as well on some popular bollywood numbers.

Ms Neeraj (m/o Kaushik and Kavyansh of Girdharipur) and Ms Sarita (m/o Ojaswini and Nisha of DCM) were the winners of Musical Chair.

Parents were served refreshments and all went home happy and elated. Indeed a Special Mother’s Day for each one!
