A spokesperson of the state government informed here today that on 30th January, every year, two minutes’ silence is observed, throughout the country, in the memory of those who sacrificed their lives during the struggle of India’s freedom. He said that silence will be observed on 30th January, 2023, Martyrs’ Day, at 11.00 am throughout the state. Work and movement stopped for two minutes in all the government offices, educational institutions and public sector enterprises. Talks, speeches on freedom struggle, national integration will also be organised in hybrid mode. He also urges the general public to observe the Martyrs’ Day with due solemnity.
