Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh met Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Bengaluru and held discussions on development initiatives and welfare-oriented projects being implemented in both states.
The meeting focused on modern infrastructure practices and ongoing works under the Public Works and Urban Development Departments of Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka. Special emphasis was placed on advanced road construction techniques and innovative road strengthening technologies being used in Karnataka.
Vikramaditya Singh expressed interest in studying these modern methods to explore their suitability for improving road infrastructure in Himachal Pradesh. He also said that senior officers from the state’s PWD and Urban Development Departments would soon visit Karnataka to observe successful infrastructure and urban development models.
During the interaction, the minister invited Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to visit Himachal Pradesh. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated that both states should learn from each other’s governance and development experiences to further refine welfare policies and ensure more effective implementation of public schemes for the benefit of citizens.
