VP Radhakrishnan Inspires Graduates at JSS Mysuru

The Vice-President of India, C. P. Radhakrishnan, attended the 16th Convocation Ceremony of JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER) held at Shivarathreeshwara Nagara, Mysuru. Addressing the graduates, he highlighted the importance of consistency, perseverance, and recognizing one’s unique talents as keys to success. Quoting Swami Vivekananda, he inspired students to “Arise, Awake, and Stop Not Till the Goal is Reached,” emphasizing determination and resilience in pursuing goals.

Radhakrishnan praised the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 for its focus on interdisciplinary learning and flexibility, which empowers students to adapt, innovate, and excel. He also urged graduates to use social media responsibly, maintain self-discipline, respect their parents, and adopt positive qualities from others while avoiding negative influences.

Highlighting Karnataka’s rich cultural heritage, the Vice-President lauded the recognition of Kannada as a Classical Language. He called upon the graduates to carry forward knowledge as true wealth, contribute humbly to society, and play an active role in nation-building under the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

During the ceremony, 2,925 students were awarded Degrees, Diplomas, and Fellowships, and 16 Gold Medallists from different disciplines were felicitated. Radhakrishnan appreciated the efforts of the faculty, students, and staff in maintaining academic excellence and fostering holistic development.
