World Book Fair 2025: A Gateway to New Ideas, Literary Exchange

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, emphasizing its role in promoting reading habits, fostering literary communities, and facilitating cultural exchange.

During his visit, the LG lauded the National Book Trust, India, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, for creating an engaging platform for book lovers, publishers, and authors. He also urged the National Book Trust to organize annual book festivals in Jammu and Srinagar to further strengthen the literary ecosystem in the region.

Taking to his social media handle X (formerly Twitter), LG Manoj Sinha remarked:

📖 “World Book Fair is the ideal opportunity to promote reading habits, celebrate the contribution of literary communities, keep track of new ideas, and invite writers and citizens for cultural exchange and intellectual discourse to expand our horizon.”

He further emphasized that books serve as the best companions, offering new ideas and perspectives that enrich our intellectual and spiritual journey. He highlighted their role in preserving and passing on knowledge for future generations, benefiting thinkers, scientists, and spiritualists alike.

The New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 continues to attract renowned authors, scholars, and literary enthusiasts, fostering a dynamic intellectual environment for discussions, book launches, and networking opportunities.
