As the countdown begins for the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) on June 21, 2025, the spirit of yoga is surging across India under the expansive celebration of Yoga Maha Kumbh 2025. This nationwide movement highlights yoga’s role in promoting holistic health and unity, aligning with this year’s theme—“Yoga for One Earth, One Health.”

In New Delhi, the celebrations kicked off with a three-day event at the Heartfulness Meditation Centre, RK Puram, organized by CONCOR and the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) in collaboration with the Heartfulness Institute. The event features yoga demonstrations, wellness sessions, and cultural performances aimed at promoting mindfulness and community well-being. A compelling Nukkad Natak added creative flair, emphasizing yoga’s practical value in everyday life.

Simultaneously, in the high-altitude region of Ladakh, the International Festival of Yoga and Meditation (IFYM) 2025 began on June 15, drawing global attention with sessions held at iconic locations such as Pangong Lake, Nubra Valley, Sindhu Ghat, and the MIMC Devachan Campus. Jointly organized by the Ministry of Ayush, MIMC, and the UT Administration of Ladakh, the festival showcases the unifying power of yoga even in the most remote corners.

In Noida, Arham Dhyan Yog launched its Yoga Maha Kumbh in Sector 50, engaging families and youth through Harit Yoga, essay competitions, debates, and interactive events at Ved Van Park. Their grand celebration on June 21 at Shivalik Park, Sector 33A, will sync with nationwide Yoga Sangam activities. Arham Dhyan Yog is also hosting parallel sessions globally, strengthening India’s global yoga outreach.

From the Himalayan heights of Ladakh to the heart of Delhi and local parks in Noida, Yoga Maha Kumbh 2025 reflects India’s vibrant and inclusive yogic legacy. Citizens across the country are invited to participate in this shared journey of breath, balance, and wellness as India reaffirms its role as the spiritual hub of the global yoga movement.
