To mark the end of the weeklong youth festival, students of St. Thomas’ School, Shimla, celebrated a recreational day, as they hosted their annual carnival, which brought out all the excitement of the students and teachers undifferentiated. The carnival was graced by Dr. Meenakshi Faith Paul and Reverend Sohan Lal.

Various stalls added more colour to the vibrant ambience of the school. At the games corner, the leading attractions were throw the loop, odd one out, lucky smile, dart and gun, tail the donkey, hit the can, electric  bell, horse race,  tambola, coin and bucket, spin the wheel which kept all present enraptured. They had a variety to choose from at the food corner, like ice cream, cold drink cup cakes, chai pakora, bhel puri, chaat papdi, chowmein, momos, burger, chana kulcha, pav bhaji and many more. All the visitors liked the sumptuous food.

Apart from this, other attractions were the tattoo and hair style make up stall, horror and blued, treasure bazaar and an art and craft corner. The children enjoyed the two stalls the most — Jam Session and the Request Corner.

At the end of the day, the most thrilling moment was the announcement of the lucky draw winners. Jackpot was received by a student of Class 10 and many consolation prizes went into the pocket of many students of Class 1, school teachers and few visitors.
