In a major step toward digitization and improved service delivery, the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment has launched a unified online platform for beneficiaries of various social security pension schemes in the state.
A departmental spokesperson announced that approximately 8.31 lakh beneficiaries are currently receiving pensions under different categories. To enhance transparency, efficiency, and user convenience, the state government has transitioned to a single-window digital system for pension disbursement.
Beneficiaries are urged to update their personal, bank, and Aadhaar details promptly via the official website www.edistrict.hp.gov.in. Those who face challenges in updating their details online can seek assistance from the nearest Lok Mitra Kendra (LMK).
Accurate and up-to-date information is essential to ensure uninterrupted pension payments. Outdated or incorrect records may lead to delays or temporary suspensions until verification is completed.
For additional support, beneficiaries can reach out to their respective District or Tehsil Welfare Officers.
