CM Sukhu has expressed profound grief over the tragic bus accident that occurred today at Tarangla near Maseran in the Sarkaghat area of Mandi district. The accident involved an HRTC bus traveling from Sarkaghat to Durgapur, resulting in the death of seven people and injuries to 27 others.
The injured have been admitted to Civil Hospital Sarkaghat and Medical College Nerchowk. Those critically injured have been referred to AIIMS Bilaspur for advanced treatment.
The Chief Minister has directed the Mandi district administration to extend ex-gratia assistance to the families of the deceased and ensure the best possible medical care for the injured.
Offering his condolences, the Chief Minister prayed for peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families in this moment of immense loss.
