Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri on Tuesday participated in the Guru Ka Langar service at IGMC Shimla, where he rendered voluntary service in the memory of his late wife Simmi Agnihotri. The langar has been consistently organized for several years by the Almighty Blessings Society.

Praising the initiative, the Deputy Chief Minister said that services like Guru Ka Langar reflect the true spirit of humanity and selfless service. He noted that the initiative provides three meals a day to needy patients and their attendants with compassion, dignity and care, thereby nurturing empathy and social responsibility.

Agnihotri commended the Almighty Blessings Society and its founder Sarabjeet Singh Bobby for his unwavering dedication in running the langar continuously for the past 11 years. He said such efforts serve as a source of inspiration and highlight the values of service, cooperation and sensitivity in society.

The Deputy Chief Minister also extended his best wishes to all volunteers associated with the organization and assured that the state government would continue to encourage and support meaningful social and humanitarian initiatives.
