Keekli Charitable Trust invites young storytellers (under 20) from across India to be a part of the Pan-India Short Story Writing Competition 2026. This is your chance to turn ideas into impact, celebrate storytelling, and get published on a national platform. The last date for submission is 31 March 2026—don’t miss it!

Jury Spotlight

Sonia Dogra is a writer, poet and editor with over a decade of experience in education and publishing. A former educator, she transitioned into freelance editing in 2016 and has since worked extensively with emerging writers, co-editing anthologies and contributing to several national and international literary platforms. Her writing reflects everyday life with depth and nuance, and she was shortlisted for the Rama Mehta Writing Grant 2024. Her debut book—Kuhu Learn to Deal with Life!

Alok Singh is a former journalist who has reinvented himself in the world of humour and live storytelling. An active part of the open mic scene since 2018, he blends sharp observation with wit, bringing a fresh and engaging perspective to narrative craft.

Vikas Prakash Joshi is a storyteller by instinct, inspired from a young age by books and imagination. His writing focuses on creating relatable characters and meaningful narratives that resonate with young readers and aspiring writers alike. Books penned by him—My Name Is Cinnamon; The Ganpati Idol Mystery and Secrets Beneath the Surface.

• 1,000–2,500 words | English or Hindi | Types in Word File
• Open themes / culture / folklore / travel / memoir
