Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm and religious spirit at Sunrock Play School in Gumma, Kotkhai. The school premises were specially decorated for the occasion, and young children participated eagerly in various devotional and cultural activities.
The event began with hymns and praises dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The children recited the Hanuman Chalisa collectively. Through short skits and poems depicting the life of Lord Hanuman, the little ones glorified his virtues of courage, selfless service, and unwavering devotion. The celebration concluded with the distribution of prasad to all the children.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Shailja Amreik emphasized that the main objective of such events is to connect children with their cultural and moral values. She noted that Lord Hanuman’s life inspires courage, service, and deep devotion. Sunrock Play School considers such cultural programs an integral part of its educational approach for the holistic development of children.
Principal Amreik also informed that Sunrock Play School offers Nursery, LKG, UKG, and creche facilities, and the admission process for the 2026–27 session is currently underway. She further stated that the school will continue to organize such events in the future and remains committed to providing quality education and meeting the aspirations of the local community.
