ARTRAC Head, Governor Discuss Army Readiness

Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Army Training Command, called on Governor Kavinder Gupta at Lok Bhavan in a courtesy meeting.

During the meeting, the Governor commended the vital role played by the Indian Army in ensuring national security and maintaining peace, especially in difficult terrains and border regions. He praised the Armed Forces for their unwavering commitment, discipline, and professionalism in serving the nation.

Highlighting the importance of training, the Governor appreciated ARTRAC’s contribution in enhancing the Army’s operational preparedness. He underlined the need for continuous upgradation, modern training methods, and integration of advanced technologies to strengthen the capabilities of the Armed Forces.

Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma briefed the Governor on key training programmes and ongoing initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and readiness of Army personnel. As a gesture, he also presented a coffee table book to the Governor.
