The Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, has issued a release order for the display of online advertisements on empanelled news websites across Category A, B, and C.

As per the order, a display advertisement of size 300 x 250 pixels will be placed on the homepage of selected news portals in the normal view area for a period of one month, from 15 April 2026 to 14 May 2026. The department will provide the advertisement creatives, which are to be displayed by the websites during the entire duration of the contract.

The order further states that the advertisement must be visible on the homepage without scrolling and should include a clickable link redirecting users to the official website of the department, http://www.himachalpr.gov.in. It has also been directed that on cursor hover, the advertisement should expand in proportion to a full-size display.

The empanelled websites have been categorized into Category A, B, and C, with corresponding monthly advertisement rates fixed at ₹15,000, ₹12,000, and ₹10,000 respectively, along with applicable GST.

The department has made it clear that no additional payment will be made beyond the approved rates mentioned in the release order. It also reserves the right to cancel empanelment in case any website refuses to carry the advertisement.

Strict monitoring will be carried out by departmental officials during the period of display, and payment will be processed only after verification of continuous visibility. Websites have been instructed to submit bills in duplicate along with daily screenshot proofs within 30 days after completion of the release period.

The order also outlines mandatory compliance requirements including proper bank details for e-payment and linking of PAN with Aadhaar, failing which higher TDS deductions will be applicable as per Income Tax rules.
