Governor Witnesses Vedic Learning at Art of Living Centre

Governor Kavinder Gupta visited the Veda Agama Samskrutha Maha Patashala – Gurukulam at the Vedic Heritage Campus, located at the Ved Vignan Maha Vidya Peeth within The Art of Living International Centre.

During his visit, the Governor interacted with students, scholars, and faculty members, and appreciated the institution’s efforts in preserving and promoting India’s Vedic heritage, Sanskrit language, and traditional knowledge systems.

He commended Gurudev Ravi Shankar and The Art of Living Foundation for establishing a dedicated centre for Vedic education and spiritual learning. He said the institution has emerged as a key hub for studies in Vedas, Agama Shastra, Sanskrit, and other traditional disciplines.

The Governor also visited the Somnath Temple located on the Gurukul campus and offered prayers. He noted that the temple contributes to a serene and spiritually enriching environment for students pursuing traditional education.

He remarked that institutions like the Veda Agama Samskrutha Maha Patashala play a vital role in preserving India’s cultural and spiritual heritage, while encouraging young learners to stay connected with ancient wisdom and values.

Senior faculty members briefed the Governor on the academic programmes, teaching methodologies, and ongoing activities at the Gurukul during his visit.
