A celebration of creativity and mentorship unfolded as two new book covers were unveiled, marking a significant milestone for young writers nurtured under an innovative literary initiative.
The books — “Is the House Haunted?” co-authored by Shagun Ranote and Ms. Minakshi Chaudhry, and “The Humility of Lies” co-authored by Midori Das and Ms. Chaudhry — have emerged from the Keekli’s Angels programme, an inspiring co-authorship and mentoring initiative by the Keekli Charitable Trust.
The initiative is designed to guide young aspiring writers through every stage of the creative process, from developing ideas and shaping narratives to editing and publication. Under the mentorship of Ms. Chaudhry, children are encouraged to transform imagination into structured storytelling, while building confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills.
Speaking on the occasion, the organisers highlighted that every child carries a unique story waiting to be told, and the programme aims to provide the platform and guidance to bring those stories to life as published works.
The unveiling also marked the recognition of the dedication and creative effort of Shagun Ranote and Midori Das, whose ideas have now taken tangible shape as upcoming publications.
The team extended heartfelt congratulations to the young authors and expressed gratitude to Ms. Minakshi Chaudhry for her continued mentorship and commitment to nurturing young literary talent.
The books are set for official release soon, adding another chapter to the growing journey of young authors under the initiative.
