CM Sukhu has conveyed his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to His Holiness the Dalai Lama on the occasion of his 91st birthday.
In his congratulatory message, the Chief Minister described the Dalai Lama as a revered global icon of compassion, peace, non-violence and universal human values. He said that His Holiness has inspired generations through his unwavering commitment to love, harmony and selfless service, and that his teachings continue to illuminate the path of humanity with hope, wisdom and moral strength.
The Chief Minister said that the presence of His Holiness in Himachal Pradesh has elevated the state’s stature as an internationally recognised centre of spirituality and peace. He added that the Dalai Lama’s timeless message of compassion, tolerance and peaceful coexistence has significantly enriched the state’s cultural and spiritual legacy while drawing people from around the world in search of inspiration and inner peace.
Sukhu prayed for the good health, long life and continued well-being of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. He expressed hope that his enduring teachings and noble ideals would continue to inspire future generations and strengthen the values of peace, harmony and the welfare of humanity across the globe.
