The Himachal Pradesh government has ordered a wide-ranging transfer and posting of IAS officers with immediate effect, following recommendations of the Civil Services Board. The reshuffle impacts senior administrative positions across departments, state PSUs, and district-level postings.
Among key changes, Dr. Abhishek Jain has been given additional charge as Financial Commissioner (Appeals) while continuing his existing senior responsibilities in the state secretariat.
Sudesh Kumar Mokhta has been placed under awaiting posting, while Amarjeet Singh will now serve as Secretary (Town & Country Planning and Housing), retaining additional charge of Home Department.
In other key moves, Torul S. Raveesh has been posted as Director, Land Records, and Abhishek Verma will take over as Managing Director, H.P. MILKFED.
Ajay Kumar Yadav has been appointed Managing Director of the Himachal Pradesh Medical Services Corporation, while Mahendra Pal Gurjar moves to the post of Director (Personnel & Finance), H.P. Power Transmission Corporation Ltd.
Vinay Kumar will continue as ADC (Development), Kangra, along with additional charge of a state finance corporation.
Rahul Jain has been assigned multiple responsibilities, including leadership roles in SC/ST Development Corporation and Mahila Vikas Nigam, along with academic administrative charges.
Among 2020 batch officers, Divyanshu Singal, Om Kant Thakur, and Gursimar Singh have been shifted to new roles across development, handicrafts, and industrial corporations.
From the 2021 batch, Ishant Jaswal, Rupinder Kaur, and Dr. Rajdeep Singh have been posted to key district and municipal administration roles across Una, Bilaspur, and Solan.
Further, Priyanshu Khati, Dr. Anjali Garg, and Chandra Prakash have been assigned new responsibilities as part of district-level administrative restructuring.
The government said the reshuffle has been carried out in public interest to strengthen administrative efficiency and streamline governance across Himachal Pradesh.
