The Himachal Pradesh government has ordered the transfer and posting of several Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) officers with immediate effect, in public interest, following administrative approvals.
Under the reshuffle, Ashwani Kumar, currently Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development)-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Kullu, has been posted as Project Officer, Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP), Keylong, Lahaul & Spiti.
Ekta Kapta, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Solan, has been appointed Additional Director, Medical Education & Research, Shimla.
Sanjeev Kumar has been transferred from Medical College Balh, Mandi, and posted as Assistant Settlement Officer, Arki, Solan.
Shilpi Beakta, Additional District Magistrate Kangra, has been shifted to the Secretariat as Additional Secretary (PWD) and will also hold charge as Secretary, State Election Commission.
Surjeet Singh has been moved from the State Election Commission and PWD charge to serve as ADC (Development)-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Kullu.
Hitesh Azad, Additional Director, Youth Services & Sports, has been posted as Assistant Settlement Officer, Shimla.
Siddhartha Acharya has been appointed Executive Director, HRTC, Shimla, moving from his academic administrative responsibilities at Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry.
Sunny Sharma, General Manager, HPMC, has been posted as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Kupvi, Shimla.
Naresh Kumar Verma has been transferred from HRTC as Executive Director to Additional Director, Medical Education & Research, Ner Chowk, Mandi.
Chet Singh has been appointed Secretary, State Transport Authority-cum-Additional Commissioner, Transport, Shimla.
Gaurav Chaudhary has been shifted from Bilaspur to Kangra as Additional Registrar, Cooperative Societies.
Among other changes, Vishrut Bharati and Raman Kumar Sharma have been mutually transferred between Fatehpur (Kangra) and Kafota (Sirmaur) as Sub Divisional Officers (Civil).
Abhishek Barwal has been posted from Kotkhai to Ghuwarwin as SDO (Civil), while Pooja Adhikari has been appointed SDO (Civil), Nagrota Bagwan, Kangra.
Aman Kumar has been moved from Kupvi to General Manager, HPMC, Shimla.
The government stated that the reshuffle has been undertaken to strengthen administrative efficiency and ensure smooth functioning across departments and field offices in Himachal Pradesh.
