CM unveils book on Jakhu Temple’s myths and cultural legacy

CM Sukhu on Thursday released Jakhu Mandir-Sanjeevani Booti Ka Rahasya, a book authored by former Assistant Director of the Language, Art and Culture Department and Chief Spokesperson of the Himachal Pradesh Kisan Congress, Trilok Suryavanshi.

Praising the author’s work, the Chief Minister said the publication would serve as an important resource for promoting tourism in the state. He noted that the book offers devotees and tourists detailed information about the historic Jakhu Temple while providing deeper insights into Shimla’s rich history and cultural heritage.

The book traces the mythological origins of the renowned Jakhu Temple, examines the mystery surrounding the Sanjeevani Booti, and presents several lesser-known facts associated with the shrine. It also features detailed information on Shimla’s heritage buildings, prominent religious sites, and other historical landmarks, making it a valuable guide for readers and visitors.
