To mark the celebration of 350th Birth Anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh, all local Gurudwaras and Guru Singh Sabha Shimla with support of Himachal Government organized a grand event comprising vishal nagar kirtan and vishesh diwan at Ridge, Shimla. The main attraction of the event was Gatka (Martial arts) that was performed by the girls. 
Vishesh diwan will be followed by the honourable C.M. Himachal, Virbhadra Singh and the members of the Shri Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee. During the event a huge procession was seen as people expressed their devotion towards Guru Nanak during nagar kirtan and lungar was also organized for people.
Students of Guru Har Krishan Public School, Bus Stand also participated and showcased the devotion they have for their Guru. They expressed deep gratitude towards the Guru and prayed for well being of all. Seeing them engulfed in prayers showed the innocence and the true meaning of devotion where there was no personal interest.
