The first day of International Literature Festival ended on a high note with a beautiful rendition by Sonal Manshing and her troupe. It can be best described through a photo feature. This is the story of Kaaliya, deadly and poisonous King of the Cobras, who poisoned the river Yamuna killing all forms of living creatures and threatening life itself. The episode showed Krishna taking on the cobra King in a feisty battle and subduing him. The second dance showcased the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu and was based on Geet Govinda.
