St. Edward’s School Celebrated International Yoga Day

St. Edward’s School  celebrated International Yoga Day with utmost fervour and enthusiasm in the school playground with students of various schools and colleges from all around Shimla. Yoga is that journey that takes you to your real self, to your soul, through your own self. A special assembly was also conducted to  highlight the importance of Yoga and meditation. Yoga not only keeps our body fit and healthy but also cleanses the soul. Thereafter, the students and teachers were taught many ‘ Yogasanas’ which they performed in unison conveying the spirit of harmony and unity while displaying the importance of healthy body and mind. It was a treat to watch both children and teachers perform yoga for a healthy mind, body and soul.
