Governor Visits Institute for Children with Special Ability at Dhalli

Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar visited Institute for Children with Special Ability Dhalli, Shimla today and distributed sweets to the children on behalf of State Red Cross Society. While extending greetings of Deepawali to the children, he said that Deepawali is the festival of lights and prayed to the Almighty for well being and happiness of all. On this occasion, the Governor also interacted with the parents of the children. Earlier, the Principal of the school Dharampal Rana welcomed the Governor. Later, the Governor also visited the Himachal Hospital of Mental Health and Rehabilitation Shimla near Tutikandi.

On this occasion, the Governor held a meeting with the officers of the Health Department and office bearers of the State Red Cross Hospital Welfare Branch. He inquired about the facilities being provided and various activities of the hospital. The Governor called upon the members of the Red Cross to adopt the patients under treatment and come forward for their counseling. Senior Medical Superintendent Dr. Sanjay Pathak welcomed the Governor and apprised him about various activities of the hospital. The Governor presented sweets to the patients on Diwali and wished for their well being.
