Sukhu’s Unconventional Visit To The Secretariat: Walking, Interacting, And Assessing Disaster Relief

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today reached the secretariat on foot from his official residence Oak Over at 9 AM. Neither government vehicle nor any security frills were around. On the way, the Chief Minister interacted with the general public and enquired the school going children how their studies were going on.

Principal Advisor (Media) to the Chief Minister, Naresh Chauhan accompanied him. At the Secretariat, the Chief Minister interacted with the Deputy Commissioners of the disaster-affected districts and took feedback on the ongoing relief and rescue operations in their districts.
