HAS trainee officers meet Governor

Trainee officers of Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service met Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhawan last evening.

While congratulating the trainee officers, the Governor urged them to give priority to the preservation of Dev culture of Himachal and make efforts for eradicating drugs from the society. He said that Himachal Pradesh was seen as a leading state in the country in the field of education but increasing drug addiction among the youth has become a cause of concern. He urged the officers to take it seriously and educate and make people aware about it.

He also interacted with the trainee officers on various topics like changes in the environment, illegal mining, legal amendments, skill development, cultural changes etc. and sought their views.
