CBSE Hosts One-Day ‘Happy Classroom’ Workshop for Teachers in Theog

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organized a one-day capacity building program on “Happy Classroom” at DAV CPS Theog, attended by 43 teachers from CBSE-affiliated schools in the district. The workshop was led by renowned trainers, Mrs. Upasana Vaishisth, Principal of Florence Convent High School Subathu, and Mrs. Anupam, Principal of Dayanand Public School Shimla.

The trainers shared insightful strategies for creating a happy and stress-free classroom environment, focusing on ways to reach the emotional core of students. They highlighted that only happy and motivated teachers can foster positive, effective learning experiences, contributing to student success.

Through interactive activities, the participants were introduced to innovative teaching methods aligned with the latest CBSE guidelines. These techniques are designed to boost teacher well-being, improve student engagement, and ultimately ensure a thriving learning environment.

The event concluded with Principal Mr. RBS Thapa expressing gratitude to the trainers for their valuable insights, which inspired teachers to prioritize happiness and mental wellness in the classroom, reinforcing the idea that happy classrooms are the key to better learning outcomes.
