In a meeting with the district officers at Una today, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri directed the officers to work with the zeal and farsightedness and prepare proposals for roping in new projects for the development of district. The detailed reports of developmental projects should prepare on priority by the IPH and PWD department, said the Deputy CM. Agnihotri directed the District Administration to identify and create land bank and also to prepare a list of illegal encroachments on the government land. Apart from this he also directed to draft a historic document of Shree Mata Chintpurni temple for making the pilgrims aware about the rich religious and glorious history and also to portray the image of goddess Chintpurni on the hoardings.

He also directed all the SDMs to inspect the damage caused to the public property by the mining mafia and instructed the police and mining department to deal stringently with the culprits. Directions were also issued to launch massive awareness campaigns to curb the drug menace in the district. Besides, Agnihotri also directed all the officers of Transport Department to inspect the Volvo buses plying without valid permits and evading taxes. Earlier Deputy Commissioner, Una  Raghav Sharma welcomed the Deputy CM and assured him to work on the guidelines provided by him.
